I became an expert by living both sides of the studio glass.
For decades, I performed alongside iconic musicians including Alan White, Brion James, Roger Fisher, Pamela Moore, and I continue to tour internationally with Limberlost.
Being onstage with players of that caliber taught me what great music feels like from the inside: the dynamics, the emotion, the precision, the connection.
But I didn’t stop there.
I wanted to understand how to build that level of impact in the studio, so I sought out direct, personal mentorship from top modern producers and engineers including Warren Huart, Devvon Terrell and Timothy Eaton.
They trained me hands-on in the craft of producing, mixing, and mastering. Now you get the benefit of all those years of learning, refinement, and obsession.

Q: Why should I hire a producer instead of doing everything myself?
Working with a producer saves time, removes guesswork, and ensures your music hits a professional standard. I bring experience, technical skill, and a creative outside perspective that’s hard to get when you’re doing everything alone.
Q: What if I don’t have a big budget?
I understand every artist is working within constraints. I offer scalable services and can tailor a plan that fits your needs, whether that’s full production, mixing-only, or phased work over time.
Q: Will we lose creative control if we work with a producer?
Not at all. My job is to understand your artistic intent and amplify it, not replace it. You stay involved every step of the way.
Q: Can AI replace what you do?
AI tools can be useful for sketching ideas, but they can’t replace creative collaboration, emotional intelligence, or taste. I bring human judgment, nuance, and experience that elevate your music beyond presets. Trust me - the people you want to impress can spot an AI generated production in a heartbeat.
Q: How long will the process take?
Every project is different, but I always provide clear timelines up front. I also build in time for artist feedback, revisions, and test mixes to make sure it comes out right, not rushed.
Q: Can you keep our music raw and authentic?
Definitely. “Raw” doesn't have to mean unpolished or unprofessional. I can preserve your vibe while making sure the final mix still translates well across all platforms.
Q: What do we need to have/do/finish before we can hire you?
Mastering:
- Usually, a stereo, 24-bit 44.1kHz WAV or AIFF file, with a -6db peak. No Clipping!
48-bit or 96-bit files are acceptable, also
- No limiting or other processing should have been done on the mix bus
- Reference track(s)
Mixing:
- 24-bit 44.1kHz WAV or AIFF files
48bit or 96 bit are OK also, but don’t upsample to get there
- ALL processing removed, except where it is critical to the sound.
Send dry and wet versions, if unsure
- All tracks start at zero, regardless of where the instrument starts playing
- All tracks edited, aligned, and properly labeled (no tracks labeled ‘audio 17’, etc.)
- Tempo, Key and Time Signature
- Relevant notes for the mix
- Reference track(s)
Full Stack Production:
- Songwriting is 90% or more finished.
- All difficult parts have been learned and practiced
- Some form of demo recording has been created.
- An open, collaborative mindset. Expect to be pushed / challenged occasionally, not flattered.
